The first session for Chartered Physiotherapists is now required to be online, this is now a requirement by their professional body, The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
The virtual sessions will be either for 1 hour- for both assessment and treatment for £45 via secure Zoom account, OR 45 minutes for just history taking and Covid screen and will cost £35. If you wish to opt for the second option, this can be performed over the telephone if you prefer.
Payment for the online session needs to be made directly after the appointment, in response to invoice created and sent to you by email or phone message.
After the online/telephone session Paula will be able to guide you, as to whether a Face2Face appointment is appropriate in conjunction with you reading the Covid Consent Form and are happy to sign a copy of this on your arrival for Face2Face session.
Face2Face Appointments
You will be emailed the Covid emergency consent form prior to your first Face2Face consultation for you to have time to read it at home.

Please expect to have your temperature checked via non-contact forehead probe.
Handwashing facilities will be in place and Paula will ask you to wash your hands on arrival. There will also be alcohol gel available for your use.

It's requested that you provide and wear your own face mask during the session because for periods of the session we will be closer than social distancing guides of 1 metre.
Paula will be wearing scrubs (as they can be repeatedly washed at high temperatures), a fresh disposable plastic apron and disposable, latex free gloves.
There will be a plastic box (disinfected between clients) where you can place personal belongings, but please keep personal belongings to a minimum where possible.

Face2Face consultations will take 1 hour for a first session at £55 and 45 minutes for a follow up session for £45. Please pay for this when you are at the clinic using card facilities only. No cash will be accepted.
To maintain social distancing all treatment room appointment times are staggered so that you will not come into contact with any other members of the public whilst at Brightside Physio.

Arrival Time
Paula would kindly ask that you do not arrive earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment. You may wish to remain in your car and then Paula can call you when she is ready, just prior to your appointment. Please let me know if you would like me to do this and confirm the best number to contact you on.
Parking
There is a car parking space reserved for clients in the gravel area, beside the roadside wall, to the left of the clinic as you face it from the front. See picture below for parking.
